My area of research is cosmology. During the last decades observations have provided an unprecedented amount of data on the primordial universe, starting what is sometimes referred to as the "precision era" of cosmology. The main focus of my research is to understand the consequences of such observations on our models of the early universe. In particular, I work on inflation and the transition from inflation to a matter dominated universe, or reheating. Different models of inflation and reheating generate different observable signatures, potentially allowing us to probe particle physiscs at energies scales that go well beyond those attained in particle accelerators.
