The particles and cosmology theory group at the University of Basel (http://particlesandcosmology.unibas.ch) has an opening for a postdoc position starting fall 2018. The position is for 2 years, with possible extension to a third year. Interested candidates are invited to send their application documents to the email address given below.
The documents should be sent electronically in a single pdf file and should contain the candidate's CV, description of research interests, accomplishments and plans, list of publications, and copies of the relevant certificates. In addition, candidates should arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent electronically to the same email address. The successful candidates are required to hold a PhD at the starting date of the position.
The current members of the group are active in early universe cosmology (inflation, baryogenesis, dark matter), neutrino physics, collider phenomenology, supersymmetry and flavour physics, as well as in flavour model building in the context of grand unified theories (GUTs). Candidates with interest in (at least one of) these topics are encouraged to apply.
